چکیده
Mangifera indica fruit (mango) is one of the most commercialized fruits around world occupying 2nd position as a tropical crop, due to great variety existing cultivars from which different food products such drinks, juices, concentrates, and jams are prepared. The wastes generated during processing this (20 million tons), represent up 60% weight consist mainly peels (12%) kernels seeds (20%), cause series environmental economic problems for entrepreneurs in sector. This because there no clear policies its disposal reuse. Nevertheless, development biotechnological tools has led these becoming subject interest their use multiple industries pharmaceuticals, since it been shown that they can be used raw material obtain phenolic compounds with biological activities (antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, etc.). review compiles relevant works 2016 2021 about extraction, quantification, identification, activities, applications obtained mango tree, special focus on fruit, objective promote sustainable perspective, biorefinery approach.

Apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.), a popular and widely cultivated fruit world-wide, contains bioactive triterpenes and phenolic compounds with potentially valuable pharmacological functions. This thesis investigated the effects of pre-harvest and postharvest factors on concentrations of these bioactive compounds in apples. It also studied the effect of ozone treatment, before or during storage,...

متن کاملMetabolism of phenolic compounds during loquat fruit development.
Phenolic compounds in loquat fruit were identified as 5-caffeoylquinic acid (chlorogenic acid), neochlorogenic acid, hydroxybenzoic acid, 5-p-feruloylquinic acid, protocatechuic acid, 4-caffeoylquinic acid, epicatechin, o-coumaric acid, ferulic acid, and p-coumaric acid. Neochlorogenic acid was found to be dominant in the early stages of loquat fruit development. Both the concentrations and typ...

The total phenolic content of 13 commercially available fruit juices and juice drinks, selected to represent the most popular juice flavors in the United Kingdom, were analyzed using the Folin-Ciocalteu assay. Individual phenolic compounds were identified and quantified using HPLC-PDA-MS2. The catechin content and degree of polymerization of proanthocyanidins were also analyzed. Purple grape ju...
